THURSDAY 16 September -7:30pm - MELBOURNE POETRY MAP: AUDIO GRAFFITI      

Ever wanted to be a lyrical vandal but knew you weren’t cut out for actual graffiti?
Melbourne’s spoken word performers have overcome the complications of spray paint and precarious legality to leave their mark on the CBD, mapping the city in poetry. They’ve created audio paste-ups of epic loves lost, recorded their hearts and left their stories like invisible murals against the city walls. Supported by the City of Melbourne, these audio poems will be launched as a part of the Melbourne Overload Poetry Festival 2010. Performers include: Alicia Sometimes, Steve Smart, Ezra Bix, Eleanor Jackson, Randall Stephens, Bella Li, Meaghan Bell, James Jackson, Maurice McNamara, Anna Fern, John McKelvie, Lish Skec and Maxine Clarke. THURSDAY 16 September - 9pm - PHOTOGRAPHY NIGHT WALKS      

Photography night walks will be held every Thursday and Sunday from 6.30pm - 8.30pm at different locations in the Melbourne CBD. Each Thursday will be followed by the screening of that nights works immediately after at Loop from 9.00pm. All levels of experience welcome. Night Walk cost $15 - Just bring yourself and your camera and come to Loop afterwards for instant visual gratification and a warm drink. FRIDAY 17 September - 10pm - THE NICE & EGO SHOW      

Mr. Nice has left his potato on the couch and found his Ego instead! Come join Mr Nice & Ego on their spanking new night of audio-visual delights. Every 3rd Fri of the month Nice & Ego will bring to Loop anybody from Kermit the frog to Nas as they manipulate both the sound and the picture on Loop's massive screen with just 2 turntables and a few whacky ideas.. fun!

SATURDAY 18 September - 10pm - IT'S YOUR THING      

Yo, head down to Loop this month to witness the fitness at ‘It’s Your Thing’! Expect rap bangers, rump shakers, rock slayers, and club jams while the DJs and staff deliver on point, not to mention with great hospitality. Special guest Harmon (the synth tappin' whizz of Melbourne) will be filling Moonshine's shoes while he's in the States on all fours diggin' in the crates.
